National Carers Week

bridge2care will again be launching the start of National Carers Week with a Bridge Climb on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th October to create awareness and to raise the profile of carers in our community.

It’s time to celebrate our carers!  This is the opportunity to give back some well deserved fun time to those in our society who regularly and unselfishly give of themselves to others.

We want to recognise the contribution carers make to society through their strength, character and courage.  Carers provide support in areas such as disability, mental health, chronic illness, dementia, aged care, youth and more.  They are the unsung heroes who support our aged, disabled, injured and weak.

Carers are just like bridges – the nurturing connection in our community, always there when support is required with a bright and cheerful smile, ready to offer a helping hand.

Support your Carers in National Carers Week 13-19 October 2013.
